Ezgi Asaroğlu is a Turkish film actress born in İzmir in 1987. She gained widespread fame for portraying Leyla in the first season of Leyla ile Mecnun, a TV series by Onur Ünlü that aired from 2010 to 2013. Asaroğlu initially rose to prominence through roles in various commercials and TV series, including Menekşe ile Halil and Hatırla Sevgili. In 2008, she made her film debut as Jasmin in the Austrian-French co-production, Bir An Özgürlük İçin (Ein Augenblick Freiheit, For a Moment Freedom). She played a lead role in the 2009 film Acı Aşk. In 2010, she began her role in Leyla ile Mecnun, which brought her significant fame. However, following a fight with her co-stars Ushan Çakır and Beste Bereket, and an alleged assault by Çakır on set, she and other involved actors were removed from the series. The incident resulted in a court case, and Çakır was fined 3000 TL. In 2013, Asaroğlu appeared in the film Aşk Kırmızı as Zeynep. Her most recent role was as İdil in the TV series Yağmurdan Kaçarken. She also starred in the film Sağ Salim 2. Asaroğlu studied Social Anthropology at Istanbul University. The beautiful actress is 1.65 meters tall and weighs 48 kilograms.
