Rebecca Louisa Ferguson Sundström is a Swedish actress. She gained international fame with the film Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Born in Stockholm in 1983, her father is Swedish and her mother, Rosemary, is British, having later moved to Sweden. From a young age, she was involved in various dance forms such as ballet and tango. During her youth, she also began modeling for various magazines and companies. In 1999, she attended the Adolf Fredrik Music School. After portraying Anna Gripenhielm in the TV series Nya Tider, she gained recognition in Sweden. However, it was her Swedish films in the 2010s that brought her to the attention of the international film community. In the 2014 film Hercules, she played Ergenia, her first role in an English-language film. She achieved international fame for her role as Ilsa in Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, the fifth installment of the Mission: Impossible series, alongside Tom Cruise. Following this film, she continued to star in high-profile international films. She has had significant roles in films such as Florence Foster Jenkins, The Girl on the Train, The Life, The Snowman, and The Greatest Showman. She has a son, Isac, born in 2007, from a long-term relationship with Ludwig Hallberg.
