William Tokarsky

She began her photography career at AFSAD in 1992, participating in various exhibitions and winning awards. After graduating from Marmara University's Cinema and Television department, she completed her master's degree in Filmmaking at Mimar Sinan University. Her first short film, 'Kıyıda,' was selected for the competitive section of the Cannes Film Festival in 1998. She continues to make short films. She first appeared in a small role in her director husband Nuri Bilge Ceylan's film 'Uzak,' and played the lead role in his fourth feature film, 'İklimler.' She served as the art director, contributed to the story, and co-wrote the screenplay for his subsequent film, 'Üç Maymun.'
