Gymnastics star Maddy Cornell, after failing to make the Australian Olympic Gymnastics team alongside Emily Morris, devises a change of plans. Hoping to rediscover her passion, she coaches a local rural club team of young gymnasts, including the energetic team leader Tess, Stella Shute. As Maddy focuses on getting the team to the State Championships, she discovers that the rival city team is coached by Becky, Elysia Markou, her seemingly friendly rival from their competitive training days.
