Monarch butterflies, the most elite among butterfly species, receive special training at the Butterfly Academy to prepare them for life outside. But Patrick Mena Massoud, whose wings are not fully developed, is left behind by his peers who are preparing for migration. Patrick, along with his caterpillar friend Marty, sets out to follow his friends and discovers a flock of crows planning to capture them. With the help of his new friend, the brave butterfly Jennifer Tatiana Maslany, Marty will find himself in a thrilling adventure to save his friends.
