World War I soldier Nathan Rijckx, portrayed by Matthias Schoenaerts, finds himself in a liminal state between life and death. To return to life and find the woman he glimpsed just before his death, a woman whose image haunts him, he begins collecting the shadows of the dying. Only two shadows remain before he achieves his goal, but a newly discovered truth thrusts him into unexpected situations and actions. 'Death of a Shadow' is a short film, part of a five-film selection, premiered on May 18, 2018.
