Leyla, a young woman, is a jazz singer in a bar in Istanbul. In her childhood, she witnessed her parents' unhappy marriage, her Russian mother's alcoholism and death, and her father's subsequent depression. Traumatized by these experiences, Leyla emotionally distances herself from her father and avoids forming any bonds with others. One night, photographer Murat encounters Leyla by chance on the street. A great love blossoms between them. This love signifies something entirely new for Leyla, and she begins to fear it. She wants to return to her old life, but it's too late.
