Yasin is a veterinarian working at the only remaining zoo in the West Bank of Palestine. He lives with his 10-year-old son, Ziad. Ziad has a special bond with the zoo's two giraffes and communicates very well with them. Unfortunately, an Israeli airstrike kills the male giraffe. The female giraffe, Rita, will die unless the veterinarian can find her a new mate. The only zoo that could provide a new male giraffe is in Tel Aviv.
