Mehmet Duman is an ordinary man who earns his living playing the guitar and singing in a bar. He has a calm nature and lets life take its course. In 2013, he narrowly escaped death in Iraq. He was seriously wounded by a gunshot in an incident whose cause and perpetrators he doesn't know. Villagers found him and treated his wounds. When Mehmet regained consciousness, he had lost his memory. His Turkish passport, found on him, allowed him to return to Turkey. He researched himself using the passport information and learned that his family was dead. Unable to find anyone who knew him, he fell into a depression for a while. Afterwards, he tried to make a meager living by taking any job he could find. One day, he met Celal, who helped him get a job in a Beyoğlu bar. In the year and a half since losing his memory, Mehmet has had to involuntarily build a new persona for himself. Today, he is with a woman named Zeynep.
