The film is set in January 1761. A well-known historical event then took place - the Battle of Panipat. This encounter had a significant impact on the course of Indian history. The battle involved the forces of the Maratha Empire on one side and Ahmad Shah Durrani on the other. The latter's powerful coalition included not only fighters from Afghanistan but also some Indians who were ready to fight on his side. This battle is one of the largest of the 18th century. A large number of soldiers from both sides perished during the Battle of Panipat. Ultimately, Durrani's army, composed of Muslim allies, won.
