Quinn, a former Army Ranger and Special Forces soldier, encounters a mysterious alien on a mission in Mexico, discovering it to be a Predator. He secretly sends some of the creature's technology back to his home in the US, where his son, Rory, finds it. This exposes Rory to a serious threat from the Predators. The government commits Quinn to a mental institution to prevent him from revealing what he saw. However, en route to the asylum, Quinn escapes with a group of ex-soldiers called the Madmen to save his son, uncovering a larger conspiracy.
