Jean-Michel Balthazar

Alyssa Sutherland is an Australian model and actress. She is best known for her role as Princess Aslaug in the television series Vikings. Sutherland was born in Brisbane. Having a successful modeling career, Sutherland appeared in numerous advertising campaigns and fashion shows in Australia, Europe, and North America, and was featured in magazines. Her first significant film role was in the 2006 film The Devil Wears Prada. After taking on smaller roles in other films and television series, she joined the cast of the 2013 series Vikings as Aslaug, giving her the opportunity to prove herself as an actress. First appearing in the final episode of the first season, she became a significant character in subsequent seasons of Vikings. In 2017, she played Eve Copeland in the series The Mist. She married American advertising director Laurence Shanet in 2012.
