The Yaşar Kemal Legend documentary, which recounts the life of Yaşar Kemal, one of the greatest writers of modern Turkish literature, from his birth in Hemite Gökçedam village to his death in Istanbul, through his own words and the statements of his close relatives and friends who shared various stages of his life, had its world premiere at the 24th Adana Golden Boll Film Festival. The film includes interviews, as well as never-before-seen footage, audio recordings, and documents of Yaşar Kemal.
