Jade Ingrid Bolsø Berdal, a leading figure in the New York fashion world thanks to her husband Nick's support, is one day shaken by a phone call from Haluk Bilginer. Nick has left her without a trace. Suffering a great disappointment, Jade receives an even bigger shock when she returns home: Nick's previous wife, Maria Katja Riemann, is there.
